Ground
cover comes in many styles and varieties. Some vines and creepers
work as excellent ground covers, as they often spread quickly
and cover entire areas. Other types of ground covers include
creepers and various grasses. Ground covers will make any
garden seem fuller and more professionally made.
Often
times, gardeners will put plants in a garden and leave it
at that. This will often lead to large gaps between plants
that must be mulched or simply left bare. Adding groundcover
to these areas will not only cover them up, it will also tie
the garden together as a whole. Ground covers are an easy
to maintain variation to mulching.
